Anemone Reef is an open-sea rocky pinnacle located in Phuket's marine park, right next to Shark Point. It is one of the region's most iconic dive sites, renowned for its marine diversity and spectacular coral formations.
As its name suggests, the pinnacle is literally covered with sea anemones swaying in the current. You can swim among anemones, clownfish — you are sure to come across "Nemo"! —, butterflyfish and many other fascinating species.
Multicoloured soft corals and fields of fish varieties make every dive incredible. Schools of snappers, fusiliers and glassfish wrap the reef in a never-ending ballet.
Beginner and experienced divers alike will find an unforgettable underwater adventure here, with ideal diving conditions most of the year. It was on this very reef that the King Cruiser ferry sank in 1997 — the two sites are often dived on the same trip.
